If you need Key Replacements for this Trailblazer, You will have to go to the Dealership with your VIN Number. You cannot get New Keys made for it Because you Have to have the Keys with the Transponder in the Key for them to Work on the Ignition.

Program keys

If your keys are grey than they have to be programmed at a Jeep dealer. If you keys are black they do not need to be programmed. A good locksmith may also be able to help you with this.

Had new remotes and keys reprogrammed etc. in June and suddenly today October neither of 2 remotes or 2 keys will open doors and so we cannot get into car at all. Help?

if manual opening of the lock with either key does not work, you need to go back to whoever made those keys. They should work when all else fails. did they ever work for you? Did someone play a dirty trick on you and swap outr your keys and remotes?

Truck won't start anti-thef light on. Please help.

your key may need to be re-programed to the car --- if you have both original keys then you should be able to flip both of them through the inginion and then the truck should start just fine,, but if one of the keys is a ' clone key ' then you are going to need to go to a automotive locksmith and have the keys and computer re-programed. do not go to the dealer -- they will charge you a lot more than the locksmith will. but try and flip the keys through first,, start with one key, put it in the ignition turn the key to the on position ( NOT start position ) -- wait a few seconds,, then put the next key in ( to the on position ) and wait a few seconds,, then got back to the first key and turn to the on position,, wait a few more seconds and the light should go out --- start the truck. again, you may need your trucks computer re-programmed and since you have the keys the cost will be cheaper than if you had no keys.

Hi,You can get new keys from any Jeep dealership. You'll need your ownership and the VIN number (vehicle identification number) That number is located under the windshield on the drivers side bottom corrner.Your best bet is call first to check if anyother information is needed.Good luck hope this has helped,if so please don't forget to rate me......

Have had 4 keys cut for my '02 gm x-cab & they fit the door, but don't turn in the ignition very easily. do I need factory gm keys (because of a chip or what?)

No, the chip will not cause you not to be able to turn the ignition. The new keys need to be worn down a little to work properly. Over time keys wear down and stop working right. New keys cut in a automatic key maker are normally too "high" for the tumblers in the lock making it hard to turn. You can add graphite to your ignition which should make it easier as your ignition becomes used to your new keys. You can find graphite at Autozone for about 4 or 5 dollars.
