93 chev s10 blazer, no fire to fuel pump, changed the two relays.

Car ran out of gas, after putting in gas, it ran about 2 miles and quit, now it doesn't get any fuel. changed fuel filter, but it just doen't seem to be getting fire back to the fuel pump, is there any other fuses that can be checked, thank you for any advise.

no fuel or spark, did attach a fuel pressure gauge, couldn't get a reading, there isn't any power to the fuel pump when the key is on, checked the fuses and changed the two fuel relays.

Can't find troubleshooting in the Chilton repair manual that covers this.

Do you know if it is not getting fuel or not getting spark? Can you hear the fuel pump kick in when you turn the key on?Or you can check to see if it is getting fuel by having someone turn the key to the run position then off several times as you watch. There is a bleeding valve on the fuel rail on the top of the engine it looks like a tire valve steam just unscrew the cap and hold the pin in keeping in mind that if the fuel pump works it will spray gas.

There wouldn't be any power at the fuel pump unless car was running or if the engine is being cranked over. When you first turn the key on there is about 5second of power at the pump then it turns off.Is the check engine light on?if so have you put a code reader on it to see what code it is.I had the same problem with a cavilier. For the longest time i thought it was the fuel pump but it turned up to be the ignition module.I was told that if the igniton module wasn't working then the fuel pump would't get power

Check the fuses called 'ECM 1&2 or A&B'. one of them blown can cause no fuel/no spark both.

Look for a missing ground strap from the engine to the body or frame. Remember the engine sits on rubber mounts so that ground strap is essential.

My 1997 Chevy 4 dr 4x4 has fuel delivery problems.

try replacing your relay first not that expensive and easy to change also some models have a red jumper wire on the relay plug that sends power directly to pump

My 1996 s10 blazer wont start it has new fuel pump and has spark. I changed the spider but still wont start

Like Kristisamp Said check the Fuel pump relays, they are little black box shaped fuses in the glove box, there are 3 of them, I think there may be a cover over them so you can see it......
Take the cover off and there you go......
I have a 96 blazer 2 door that had the same problem, I repalced thes relays and Bam!!! fired right up........

Chevy Trucks, Blazers, S10 pickup and the like will vapor lock ecspecially the 2000 models. Do not tighten the gas cap past 1 click. There is a tube that runs from the top of the tank down and this gets hot and collapses or burns in half. We just bought a reinforced rubber tube cut it to lengh and use it instead of part and it's worked grat for 2 years so far.
