If both heater hoses are hot, you could have a blend door problem under the dash. If the engine is not warming up, check the thermostat.

SOURCE: '98 Chevy S-10 Pickup heater blowing cold air

the temp door is located in a box behind the glovebox, the actuator is either under or above the box. if you remove the glove box you should be able to see it.

SOURCE: 1998 Blazer A/C blows hot air...the heater works

This could be the problem "it's full of freon cause it wouldn't take anymore"
A/Cs are not filled until they can't any more.

Here is what you should have in it.
The refrigerant used should be R-134a
The total amount should be 32oz
The type of oil in the A/C should be Pag-150
The amount of Pag-150 should be 8oz

More than 32oz of R134a is overcharged.

You should also check to make sure the compressor is engaging.
If not,It could be Overcharge,bad compressor,Bad pressure switch,or a few other things.

I hope this has given you ample info.

Please take time to rate this fixya.

SOURCE: 1996 chevy blazer my air on heater will not blow

the idea of the switch is run on vacuum and is not making contact with the switch it self either worn contacts in the switch itself **** as an obstruction as well or the vent door is stuck in just that position either behind the glove box or the ash tray are the vacuum lines one of them may be pinched off or the door needs a bit of help until you can free it up

2005 jeep liberty blows cold air through the heater.

Either you are low on coolant and there is air in your heater core, or the thermostat isn't working properly, or your water pump is going out.

My 98 blazer is over heating and the heater is blowing cold air.. I already changed the thermostat and added radiator fluid... What else could it be??

Symptons still sound like radiator is low. When engine is cold , take off radiator cap and and start vehicle. Let it idle until you can see that the water is circulating (once the engine thermostat opens up). Top it up until Rad is full and still circulating. Then check your heater . Put cap back on and hopefully your problems are solved. Also check under vehicle when it has idled for a while to make sure there are no leaks. Top your surge tank up to appropriate level. Good luck.

No Heat Blowing cold air Motor temp ok electric heat control ok (checked resistance of switch on dash)

Need to check your Fluid level, also your hearter core take the upper and lower hose of and try to run water through it to see if it is stopped up. Another thing to look at is your thermostat might want to up the temp rating, will take longer to warm up, but when it opens it will be like a dragon.

2001 pt cruiser no heat

did you check the fluid level by removing the rad. cap? Radiator should be full to top. If Chryslers are low on coolant, the heater will not blow warm air.
