94 park ave wont start,I drove 12 miles then the "low coolant" light turned on to spite the fact that i put coolant in before i left , the "overheating" light turned on then turned off as the "service engine soon" light turned on it overheated, started dieseling at first it was only dieceling when i acelerated then at the end itwas all the time, and the engine stopped(that took 3 - 6 min from the start of the dieciling tell the engine stoped), I let it cool for a few hr.s and tryed it, it started so i drove it home. the next morning it wouldn't start, sence then it started once and as soon as i shifted it in to drive it died. by the why the temp outside was -03 F. the coolant resivor is filled to the proper point and the themostat gage is not working ... what do you think is wrong???

Your Buick is a 3.8 liter, and probably the best engine ever built. But as all good things it has a few flaws.
It is a aluminum block, that doesn't do well at all with heat, yet at -03 f. I would be more concerned with it freezing. Again a problem with anything aluminum.
The problem I have found is that the heads will crack and the dieseling you describe is common of a 3.8 with a cracked head. I would pull the spark plugs, if it is dieseling it has to have water on one of the cylinders. Pulling the spark plugs will tell wich one. and also check for faulty or blown freeze plugs in the block. They may just be pushed out a little.

Blown engine. Check the oil and see if it is white or black. If your thermostat is not working, would do no good to put any anitfreeze in the car as it will not get to the engine. You can, in fact, remove the thermostat to drive the car should it start to get a flow of coolant going as you can't damage it any worse that it is. If you find this helpful, please post as such.

If you ran out of oil your engine is frozen You can now use it as a large paper weight. Even if you could start it everything inside is shot. Go to a junkyard and get an engine and have them or some one else install it

Car not starting or turning over indicates towards multiple possibilities. It can be issue with battery or weak battery. But if battery checks out ok, then it can be starter issue or faulty alternator or problem with low fuel pressure or no spark at spark plugs due to dirty spark plugs or faulty ignition coil or injectors getting cracked or dirty and needs to be cleaned.

To confirm the problem, the basic troubleshooting is required.

I drove 12 miles with truck in foru wheel low and now it is stuck

you have to put the main shifter from park into neutral.
then move the electronic switch from 4 low to 2 wd.or the "auto" setting.
then move the shifter into reverse and back up about 10 feet.
put it in drive . good luck with it.
