Ok take the belt off take the hose off the pump catch the antifreeze take the bolts off the pump clean off the old gasket off the engine and install new pump and gasket reinstall hoses and bolts anrefill with anti freeze and reinstall belt start it and make sure it does not leak

Remove the power steering pump pulley on a 2003 monte carlo

you can either remove the steering pump to gain access,if there is no holes in PS pump pulley,you can rent a pulley puller....can be a ***** to get in and use them though....I will drill a hole in it for next time whenever I replace a pump on cars without ....

there should be holes in power steering pump pulley that when positioned correctly the bole should go through one of those holes, if not then you have to remove the pump

Water pump

On the 3.4.... Drain coolant, remove drive belt guard, loosen pulley bolts, remove drive belt, remove pulley, remove water pump. Good idea to check the belt for cracks or wear when doing the pump replacement. Reverse the procedure to install.
