I had same problem on my 1999 passat v6. I pull out my abs control module and i bought repair service from ebay and send the module to them and i recived in 3 business day and install it back result is an amazing no more lights and abs system works perfectly and the best part is i paid only 65$ for the servise and 13$ for the sending shipping fees.
good luck.

I have had the same problem. I took it to a mechanic because I had to get a couple of other things fixed, but he told me that ABS has gone out. It isn't a problem, but the oil and brake light are in sync with it, so that is why they will flash with the ABS. He told me it will not harm the car to continue driving like that, because people have driven cars without ABS for years. He just said be careful in snow, and rainy conditions because you do not have the extra traction. It cost about 900 to fix, I am a poor college student, so I don't have that type of money and I didn't get it fixed and I have been driving it like that for the last 5 months.

ABS LIGHT IS ON , BRAKE AND OIL LIGHT FLASHES

ABS light on meansd your car has the obd2 code problem, you need a scan tool to test out the code, and i know this tool can help you diagnose the code and delete/reset it. Or you can take your car to the local dealer to check out it, then they will tell you how to fix it.

Replaced front brakes ABS light comes on and

Hi:
The ABS light on means an ABS malfunction. You should be able to have a auto parts store scan your car and find out what code is tripped, for free, but my guess is that one of your front wheel speed sensors is out of whack, or dirty or something.
When the light is on, your normal brakes work fine, but you have no ABS, so your car will take longer to stop in emergency situations.

My ABS, brake and oil lights keep coming on at the same time, flashing for a few minutes and then going back off. This happens very randomly, sometimes lasting for seconds, sometimes lasting for up to 20...

Its exactly the abs module! and its keeping the ecu from communicating with the rest of the car, when you remove the module your tac will come back alive and the oil light will turn off. There is way to trick the ecu to thinking the abs module is working but it involves taking out the module, it is fairly simple. My email address is superbikevoodoo@yahoo.com, email me, and I will give you pictures and instructions on what to do. Its really easy, your abs and break light will go off along with the beeping!

Abs light stays on, have changed the brakepads

Its not your brake pads. It is your ABS system. Only dealers are certified to work on the ABS systems. I would check all of your fuses prior to sending it to the dealership. You probaby have a bad sensor. Have you drove through water over your bumpers? IF so, then just take it to the dealer because you have shorted a sensor.

ABS light, brake light, tachometer to zero, oil light, a/c

i can guarantee that you have several shorts in your wiring harness that is leading to all of your accessories and switches. find the electrical shorts and you will fix your problem. also your sensors (idiot lights) are popping on because of defective connections in the wiring. also check all of your relay circuits and fuses.

Oil light and brake lights blinks on and off and abs light is on

Just a idea. If the car is running at idle and the oil light blinks , it usually from low oil pressure. At a idle your seeing the light respond to the revolutions of the engine. ! thing to try is to replace the oil pressure switch on the engine block. And #2, Most causes in a VW is that the vehicle overheated at one time and weekend the oil pump,or massive amount of miles.
