Car will not Start after Clutch was Replaced

The Clutch was replaced and has been checked to make sure it is in correctly. The battery is fully charge and the switch for the power is turned on. The car will not start and have replaced the battery in hopes it would fix the problem. Before the clutch was replaced, the car would rev itself in the driveway. No one was touching the gas when it did this. Is there any idea if these two problems are linked and any idea of what part or wire is causing the problem?

They have checked the switch, it is on and still nothing... my car has been sitting for almost 2 yrs now because I cannot find someone that has the time to find the problem... They think it is a wire pinched but I am not sure which wire could cause such a problem and they can't find it...

Have you had the starter wiring checked? The starter must be removed to install a clutch, check the small wire to the starter this is the one that energizes the starter it may have been left unhooked as an oversight

I replaced the spark plug and ignition coil and now it won't start?

if the car won`t turn over then it could be a starter problem if the battery is as you say fully charged. check voltages at the starter. it could be a bad connection or starter relay.

T replaced my thermostat on my 04 chevy trailblazer and now it wont turn over

did you check to make sure the battery is fully charged?
On some GM products there are 2 large metal GROUND LOOPS bolted on or near the thermostat housing. Those are the main computer grounds. They are important. Make sure if you touched them they are both back on and tight.
Aside from the ground loop thing above, there shouildnt be anything youi would touch in a thermostat change that affects the starter, so for ease...treat it as a starting problem. It needs BATTERY CHARGED AND CABLES TIGHT. It needs GOOD FACTORY KEY (No security light or key symbol flashing on dash!), It needs SHIFTER IN PARK/NEUTRAL or CLUTCH FULLY DEPRESSED, and it may need alarm cycled OFF/UNLOCK even if the car isnt locked. Id start there. If all that tests out, then you may have a failed component in the starting system or an issue with security that needs to be checked. But start with those, most sudden start problems will fall in there.

1998 Cadillac Deville. Fully charged battery but car is dead. I tried to start the car and it just clicked but it had some, but very little power. I placed the battery charger on the car and in 3 hours...

I am thinking a couple of things here:
1. Throttle Position Sensor (TPS)
Solution: hold the gas pedal to the floor and try to start the vehicle (if a clutch make sure the clutch is in). If the vehicle starts the TPS is bad or needs to be cleaned.
2. Try to Jump the battery
3. Very little power can be an intake manifold leak, water port area or reservoir cap. Compression.

Usually a TPS problem will not throw a code like other start up sensors.

I hope this helps.

check your tail light fuse in the fuse panel owners manual has the fuse numbers matching them with the name of
the circuit. Check the battery charge it fully then do a load test on it. Check all battery cables make sure
they are clean and tight. check the fuseable links. Check the headlight switch. Check for any possiblity of wire loom damge from collision etc.Trailer hitch wiring? If you get it started make sure the alternator is charging. If no start check the power to the st arter solenoid power wire in start position. If it has a clutch make sure the pedal is depressed and check the
clutch switch on the pedal. If Automatic Check neutral safety switch and adjustment. make sure the key is on when testing the lights.

Removed old honda battery due to age replaced with new battery. i get the guuages to illuminate but car will not turn over. i know the battery is new and i removed the protective terinal caps on the new...

No, it should immediately start if you have the battery connected properly. Are you sure this new battery is fully charged? It may just need charging. If the battery is fully charged and connected tightly then you have another problem.

Car wont start...clicking noise

well running the voltage from alternator should be at least 14 volts or a bit higher, engine off it should read at least 13 volts at battery. if alternater is less then 14 volts, it is the alternator at fault. or a loose alt, belt.
