Hi there the speed sensor is located at the fron of the transmission between the two transmission cooler lines. Hope this helps you out

Sounds like it could be the speed sensor, it's located on the transaxel just about where the right side axel goes in, try un-plugging it and plugging it back in.

Speedometer pegs backwards from time to time on my 2001 twn&cntry

Hold down the black plastic TRIP METER RESET switch for 10 sec and ti will go into diagnostic mode. I did this and its cool. Do it with the van turned off!
