Question about 1994 Mitsubishi 3000GT

Accelration only occurs at high rpms...and now car won't start

1995 Mitsu 3000gt~ manual, v6 (non-turbo)

Have been having problems with my engine- mechanic said he fixed it, only same problem has resurfaced.

the vehicle will only accelerate after hitting 4-5k rpms, in all gears- it's as if I was stepping on the clutch and not releasing appropriately.
extreme loss of power is also noted even at the higher rpms

have not driven it in the past 3-4 weeks and now the car won't start at all- tried jumping it to no avail. I hear to clicking noises- one when I turn the key and the other when i step on the clutch~

any ideas?
many thanks

If the problem is when u go into gears it could be the clutch is going out. when it slips i can cause reduction like that. after you accelerate the clutch has time to engage and will provide power. the clicking sound is something diffrent. try charging the battery not just jumping it. if the car doing the jumping is not providing the right amount of power it wont start.

94 Mitsubishi 3000gt non turbo where is the wiper motor relay

Why not pick up a Haynes car manual for your 3000GT at your local auto parts store. It will have the whole wiring schematic for your car in it. I believe that there isn't any relay, only a positional switch which may be your problem.

even though harness may be compatible, all your ignition components will vary, get a manual on both engines with wiring diagrams before proceding.. you will need help of an expert at these modifications

Hi! My rpm gauge on my 1995 3000gt vr4 will stay at zero until reved at high rpms it will start jumping wildly. What might this be?

Most likely your tooth on your needle has worn out. Happened to me on the mph cluster. Its easier to change out the whole speedo. Hope this Helps!

Rebuilt engine. when started again car ticks. timing marks aligned correctly, timing light shows 20 deg. what gives?

Most likely the hydraulic valve lifters, notoriously noisy in Mitsubishi engines. My 2007 Galant Ralliart Mivec 3.8 V6 with less than 15000 miles ticks also as did my 1989 Gallant and 1997 Eclipse.
