Question about 2004 Land Rover Discovery
Have a 04 discovery hse. the engine does not even turn over when turning the key. battery is brand new and all cables are fine. thought it might be the safty neutral switch but not sure. any ideas.
It is possible that it is the selector switch for the automatic transmission. The switch is either mounted to the side of the gearbox and sits with the selector cable or is mounted in the center console by the gearshift. it is possible that the switch may only need adjustment. Check the power supply at the switch and adjust to start.
If you have no electric power to the dash when you put the contact on, then check the earth cables.
Hope this helps.
