Question about 1987 BMW 3 Series
MY 1993 BMW HAS BEEN SITTING FOR 9 MONTHS IN SOMETIMES 10 DEGREE WEATHER. I CHECKED ALL THE FLUIDS AND STARTED HER UP. EVERYTHNG WAS FINE TILL I TRIED BACKING UP. THE REAR WHEELS WILL NOT BUDGE. I TRIED DRIVING FORWARD AND GOT THE SAME RESULT. THE CAR PULLS BACK WHEN I ATEMPT TO REVEARSE AND FORWARD WHEN I TRY IT IN DRIVE AND LET OFF THE CLUTCH SO ITS GOING INTO GEAR BUT THE REAR WHEELS WILL NOT MOVE. ANY SUGGESTIONS?
Your brakes have seized. Remove the wheels and inspect. A firm blow with a rubber mallet to the calliper or a little penetrating oil may free them up, but not adviseable to drive until looked at after freeing up.
