SOURCE: struts were replaced but there is still squeaking in front

possible sway bar links, strut bearing plates (they sit on top of the strut), ball joints, tie rod ends. If the you can make it squeek by pushing up and down on the front, have someone do this while trying to narrow where the noise is coming from.

SOURCE: grunting and squealing sound from the right rear strut area

a worn strut could make that noise but it could also be the strut mount its self the only true way to see if it is the problem is to remove it from the vechicle. but if you dont feel the need to do this try spraying some rust check or lubricant onto everything that you see that moves. i hope this helps.

The E-brake is stuck on. Rock it back and forth from Drive to Reverse and it should free up. You really should get the brakes checked too.

Might consider in lifting the front end and securing on jack stands. Then check your ball joints, tie rod ends and other related steering components. May also want to check your bushing in your control arms, if present.
May also want to check your strut mounts.

Shaking and Front passenger tire keeps wearing

damaged the lower control arm of the suspension
the shop doing the wheel alignment is clueless as it is not possible to get the alignment figures with any damage and they should have given you a report to that effect
Take the car to an accredited front end specialist shop for a check of control arms , bent strut and have an alignment done on the rear first then the front

Uneven tire wear and struts problem

Sounds like you should have the alignment checked on an alignment machine on all 4 wheels.Once you get those readings and an expert alignment mechanic's estimate on repair, only then will you know the correct repairs needed.

I need help replacing a right upper control arm on my 98 civic si

jack up vehicle ,remove tire/wheel,separate upper ball joint from steering spindle. next open hood, look at the right front strut mount. there is a nut on each side of the strut mount, these nuts hold the upper control arm to the vehicle. remove the nuts and pull the control arm out. install in reverse procedure. NOTE: need to have alignment checked after replacement.

Noise on my front passenger tire

This one really fires me up! First go back to Discount tire and "speak" to the manager. Tell him you want the actual problem fixed and that you want the cost of that repair subtracted from the cost of the tires since you didn't come in to buy tires in the first place. If he won't agree to that, DON'T pay them any more money to take pot-shots at fixing the problem. Take it to another shop but make sure to let him know that you'll be contacting his regeional manager, the BBB, and your local news papers consumer rip-off column writer. That said, it's very possible, depending on the miles on the vehical, that you may have a worn or bad ball joint or somehow something in the suspention has come loose, ie: pitman arm, control arm, shock, etc... The only way to know is to have a reputable professional inspect the front end.

98 ford eddie bauer expedition front tires toed out

bo_ronan,
Front end work can be tricky and should be done by a certified mechanic, there are a number of possibilities here,if it is a "toe out" problem this could be caused by worn tie rod ends or control arm bushings but this may also be a camber problem however camber usually affects one wheel.Camber can be caused by a bent spindle, mislocated strut tower, bent strut, worn or collapsed control arm bushing, bent control arm or a weak or broken spring. If any of these parts are replaced, camber should be checked and adjusted as needed after the parts have been installed.I hope this helps you, good luck.
