Question about 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche
I have a 2002 Avalanche. While the truck is in park it runs fine. When I'm driving it will just die. Once I put the truck in nuetral (while coasting down the road) I turn the ignition and it will start again. Once its back into drive and I let off of the accelorator it dies again. Thank you for any help you can provide. KJ
I read this in a blog and it worked for my truck. I cleaned the throttle body and the air filter. It seems to be starving for air when you are just at idle cause it would not die when I was going down the road. Only if I was pulling into park with the rpms really low. Just pull the intake off and clean the throttle body. You will see a bunch of gunk. Clean it until it turns silver again.
