Car skips or jumps when i press gas

See a local transmission shop ans ask them to drive it and see what they think.

You have to follow a diagnostic procedure
that works for whoever checks it out

You need a repair shop to road test it & you drive
with a mechanic and explain things, then they drive it,
and go back to the shop & they start some type of testing
they think is needed

No one can guess from the internet without the car

I would be checking for codes the first day it did that & then not drive it until I had code results

If you got a flashing Mil lamp on the dash or any check light,
you should have gotten to a shop right away

Lots of early Nissans had a fuel feed pipe problem The plastick pipe split causing fuel starving engine missing

it sounds like transmission problem with that problem you should have a trouble code storeed in have some one scanned for you that will tell you the problem, also check for vacuum hoses one may be disconnected or cracked

Certainly check for a sticking throttle and idle air valve if fitted.

If nothing is found it could need the engine management defaults restoring. Sometimes disconnecting the battery for a few hours or overnight will reset things and sometimes diagnostic equipment with the right software is needed.

Change your fuel filter and check the fuel pressure at the fuel rail.

When does it skip and hesitate? While your driving or taking off or turning a corner?

It sounds like an automatic.

sounds like the lockup torque converter is not releasing, it could be electrical or internal

This car is fuel injected, so you should not have to press the gas to start it. You either have a bad fuel pump or some clogged lines/filters.

That is an EGR code, replace the EGR valve and it should run fine again.
