Question about 2000 Nissan Maxima
2003 Nissan Maxima would not turn over, even though there was a new battery and power to headlights, dash interior, power seats, etc. This has happened on three occasions now, once after the car was turned off at the gas station, once after coming out of the store and once at work. In all occasions it was very cold outside and the car had been running for at least 20 minutes before it was shut off. This issue was taken to the dealer for correction after the first and second occurrence. After the second occurrence, the dealer change the battery (a new battery had been installed two year prior along with a new alternator). Seems to be a moisture related electronic problem. Go figure...
Sounds like the starter, you can try tapping it with an insulated tool 2-5 times before you try starting it
