Could be the hydraulic part of the system that moves the clutch disc when you push on the pedal, or the clutch disc itself.

SOURCE: my clutch goes straight to the floor, cant shift gears

The most likely cause of your problem is a hydraulic system problem. Your clutch system works off of hydraulic pressure and if there is a leak or it ran out of fluid it will cause the problem you have. The first thing to do is check the master cylinder to be sure that it is full of fluid. If it is not then you have a leak somewhere.
You could have a problem with either your master cylinder or slave cylinder.

I had the same problem and my fluid was fine! First try to bleed it (i went the easy way and bought a speed bleeder) if that doesn't do it i replaced my slave cylinder and it worked.

Check your idle air control valve. If not that try your throttle position sensor or your throttle cable may need adjusting.

Sounds like clutch adjustment or replacement. (Not disengaging the trans fully). Check to make sure you have enough juice in the clutch master reservoir and that there isn't a leak at the clutch slave cylinder first.........

What causes drive to quit while other gears work on a 2002 rodeo

Your transmission uses clutches and bands to operate in different gears as well as one way clutches. When you put it in Drive it uses a one way clutch (called an overrunning clutch) to help get moving, if this is broken your vehicle wont go but when you put it down into first a band also grabs and now it works. I imagine it works if you start off in first then manually shift it to second then drive. You should take it to a shop and have this repaired.

I have a 1995 Isuzu Rodeo 2WD, 5 SP 240K miles, with original factory clutch still. My question is; Why during the winter months my Clutch Pedal loses tension and it goes (sank) all the way to the floor...

With that much play on the clutch you will need to replace the clutch and in the mean time you can float the gears by matching your rpms and your speed you may scratch a little but you can get it to the shop however its nor recommended to float gears because you can damage the gears if you do it too much.

No pressure clutch pedal goes straight to the floor 1988 holden r

If hydraulic actuated mechanism, loss of fluid, defective master cylinder or slave cylinder at the clutch. Missing pin or other part between slave cylinder and clutch arm. Loose or broken slave cylinder mounting. Missing pin or broken part between pedal and master cylinder. If mechanical linkage, look for broken components or missing pins at moving joints. If you tried to shift into gear with engine running, you may have damaged the transmission gears.

Difficult to put in gears.

Either your clutch is not fully disengaging or the synchros inside the transmission are worn.
