Your alternator could be bad,Autozone will test for free,if you can't drive there to have tested on vehicle,you will have to remove and take up there,also take battery,you have a fusible link in line on the positive side of battery,make sure it's not burnt.Here's a link on how to remove your alternator.

I had the same problem in another vehicle. It turned out that the problem was the switch. Lights and turn signals were all in same unit, and the whole needed replaced to fix the one.

yes , you never need a scanner with any dodge products. Just put the key in the ignition. Turn the key on and off three time ..leave it on the on position and watch the odometer. it will say the code.

there is a switch on the transmission that the power goes through to backup lights if switch is bad on trans lights won't come on

If you are able to drive it to the parts store, they can test the alternator on the vehicle to see if it is charging. If not, check your belts to make sure they are tight and rotating the alternator properly. Last resort, new alternator.
