The turning over without the starts; my car does the same thing. I would just keep trying and eventually it would run. Well, I was told it could either be a bad ignition coil, or maybe an oxygen sensor going bad. A tune up might help too. Does this happen after rainy weather? It could be a crack that's allowing moisture in the ignition parts.

Not sure about the windows, sounds like an electrical problem. Check the fuses yet? It might be a bad solenoid switch in the doors. My passenger side door lock never opens with the auto unlock, but it does lock. I have to manually unlock it. I've just been too lazy to replace the part. The strange thing is that in the 2 years I've had it, it automatically opened ONE TIME out of the blue, but then the problem came back.

SOURCE: My security remote dose not work

Hello, It seems as is if you have a remote that will not lock the doors all the time. There can be a couple of reasons that it wont work at times.1 it may have a weak battery,2 there may be some kind of residue inside the key fob itself such as tea, coke, water, or even sweat. This will short the fob out at times.Thank you

SOURCE: 07 Buick Lucerne seems like I have to be right

The battery may have gone weak in your remote. The gm system will never have as far of a range of and aftermarket system, so do not expect that.

Also There is an update kit for the chevy impala I do not know if this applies to the Lucerne but I would think it will seeing as they are the same platform car. This kit is to make the range better for the Key fob system. But like I say don't get your hopes up I'm not sure It applies to your car?
Good day to you.

Car doesn't even try to start, but all lights come on!

With not hearing a sound check the battery cables at the battery. Make sure you take them off and make sure they are clean, use a wire brush. Reinstall the cables and try again. If still no sound you will need a test light and two people. Have one person turn the key to start and the other has to use the test light and see if you get current on the start side (the small wire) when key is in the start position. If you have current the cause is the starter you can try tapping the housing with a hammer to get it started. That does not always work. But the starter would have to be replaced. If you don"t get any current check the safety switch to make sure current passes thru it. If it does you have a broken wire to the starter. If not switch is bad. If no current at all to the safety switch check the electrical part of the ignition switch. If you need more assisstance let me know the results of your tests, the year, make, model, engine size, and type of transmission. Good Luck.

Battery keeps going dead.

obviously there is an abnormal drain on the vehicles electrical system. Examples of this are a glove box or conso;e light staying even though you closed it, is there a reading or compartment light on ? Anybody that just says "you need a battery without ALSO testing the electrical system for integrity is not helping,
