Sounds like the valve body and/or transmission pump have some problems. I would replace the complete valve body on this car. I just did one and it cleared up ALL of the problems I was having with shifting, pump noise, and torque converter lock-up. They are available on eBay for around $200 for your car. They are also fully rebuilt and updated from the manufacturer.
Good Luck!

Transmission no pressure

Nope, no positives. It does sound like the pump has failed. If the stop leak didn't help seal any internal seals that may have failed, it looks like the transaxle will have to come out for repairs or another replacement.
I don't think the torque converter ever makes noise when bad.
I would think your diagnosis of a bad pump is correct, given no movement of fluid in the cooler lines. Kudos for checking the lines-cool idea, I never thought of that.

LOST ALL TRANNY FLUID

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but it sounds like you either lost your torque converter or the forward seal on the tranny most likely do to an inner pump problem. All this adds up to a transmission rebuild unfortunately.

After 8 years, you put in a fresh engine but do not touch the transmission, at least the torque converter? Seriously, hindsight is great, isn't it! Well, you got my take on it. I think you might need to change out that torque converter at the very least and if you do drop the tranny to change that converter, have the transmission gone through as well. Doing any less is just asking for trouble. That fresh engine is just too much for the ole tranny! Sorry for the bad news my friend but that's the way I see em! Let me know what you decide?

if you are getting a true rebuilt transmission they will include a torque convertor. do not use the old one. plus it will also void any warranty on the trans.
