Question about 2002 Chevrolet S-10
I had my truck serviced at jiffylube, got the full service and afterward my check engine light came on. I took it back, advised it had NOT done that until they worked on my car. They spent an hour looking at it (left their cordless phone under the hood) and had no idea why this happened. They finally gave up. I spoke to a mechanic who advised the may have knocked a wire loose. The only wire I can see if a blue whire that runs from one of the battery posts to a fuse and then on to what appears to be a group of wires bundled together. Any idea what the blue wire is?
Call corporate and make jiffy lube pay to repair.... the blue wire is original equip or alarm or ?...code check the vehicle to find what it says it is... free at local aout parts houses.... get underneath adn check for areas they disturbed for failed loose connection.. check battery grounds and even fuel cap for anything loose... too many possibilities yes..advise
