Question about 2001 Oldsmobile Alero
The check engine light came on in my Alero months ago. I had the codes read and was told that there was a problem with the pressure to my gas tank. They thought it might have been a problem with the gas cap not being on tight enough, but the light still won't go out. What else could be causing this? I know when my tire pressure light comes on every other week that it's a matter of checking the tires and resetting the sensor...could this be a similar problem?
Resetting the codes will baseline you yes..disconn battery for while ... if continues you need to find why it is not vapor returning properly likely
