Question about 2000 GMC Jimmy
Everytime unlock my 2000 GMC Jimmy and open the door the dashboard lights and 4 ways flash. Coming on for 3 seconds with a chime like the door was open and the keys were in and then off for one second and silent. Then it repeats for about 30 seconds before shutting off automatically. I figured with was some sort of warning about a problem with the electrical system but I can't find anything in the owners manual. It starts fine, I just had the Alternater and Fuel pumped replaced and it starts and drives fine otherwise. What should I do? I don't really want to take it to a dealer because I'm sure they'll rip me off. Ideas or suggestions?
