Turning over is synonymous with *cranking*..so i am confused...if it cranks the battery is fine.. the issue is somewhere else..an isolator charges the primary battery to full then charges the aux battery...only the primary is used to start the vehicle in most cases

95 ford explorer cranks but wont start had this change the relay, fuelpump, sarter, altnator ,battery, wait then it starts

What could cause a 95 Ford Explorer to turn over but not start? It could be a lot of things causing it not to start. If it is turning over it could be the alternator or carburetor causing it not to start. An alternator is an electromechanical device that converts mechanical energy to electrical energy in the form of alternating current. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1995 ford explorer wont start

You could be right. It could also be a bad connection between the battery and starter. It takes 11 volts to crank a Ford starter.
You might want to clean the cables and check the voltage at the starter post.
Could also be a problem with the engine.

My 96' ford explorer wont start

turn on your headlights and see what happens when you go to crank. If loghts dim and stay dim, The battery is dead. If they go out and come back on you have a bad connection. If you have a voltmeter, At the battery posts you should have a reading of 13.6 v to 14.2 volts running. If in this range your alternater is fine. New batteries aren't always put in service properly so don't close your mind on that issue.

Wont crank or start

The battery is probabally OK but the connections to it are not tight....in other words the lights draw nothing compared to cranking. Clean the terminals and make sure both connectors are tight.
