Question about 1998 Saab 900
Hello, I have a 1998 Saab 900S 2.0L turbo. This engine does not have a blow off valve in it which causes the turbo to over-boost the engine which causes the fuel pump to cut out. I was hoping to get some advice on an after market Blow off valve. If anyone has any suggestions or know of any good ones for this make please let me know. Thanks in advanced for all your help. Also does anyone know at what psi the fuel pump gets cut-off?
This isn't really a solution, but an FYI. If the air pressure in the intake manifold exceeds the max safety limit set buy the factory, the computer shuts off the fuel pump to save the motor and the turbo. Its more or less backup. the pump should only be off for a momant.
