Question about 2006 Saturn Vue
I bottomed out on a curb I didn't see, oil was leaking, I was able to drive home, but now I want to drive the car to the shop and I can't! I filled it up with oil, still no luck... the engine turns over and starts just fine, but when I put it into gear to back out, it doesn't work, neither does drive....
I just don't know what to do, I don't need a permenant solution, I would just like to be able to drive my van to the shop!
Check for further damage to linkage to transmission and its cooler lines...if in doubt...hire a tow truck..the damage you may cause by driving may considerably increase your repair bill....good luck

There is no easy way, water pumps are hard to change on this vehicle. Before starting the job I would buy a repair manual with step by step instructions. To give you some idea on how long it may take, the labor time is 4.5 hours for an experienced tech.
