SOURCE: egr valve
Here is a picture of the egr valve for your blazer. http://www2.partstrain.com/store/?Ntt=EGR%20Valve&N=9968%201588%204294967265
Quite pricey. As for changing it out I would head to your local library and seek out their online car repair sources. Be sure to take a jump drive or a floppy disk to take the documents back home with you. From your home print out the proper techniques as well as torque specs for the removal and replacement of the egr valve. Good luck.

SOURCE: EGR valve on my 1995 Chevy s10
up on manifold but most are vacuum operated check again to make sure a solonoid operates this device .. usually when the egr valve goes bad the vehicle dies at intersections or stopping

The egr valve is located at the end of a hose that plugs into youe valve cover. It is pushed right into a rubber grommet that is located in one of the valve covers. I hope this helps. don.t forget to rate my nswer, thanks

If it's a US car then there is not an egr on the 2.2L engine. I think some of the mexican and oversea's engines had them, but not here in the US.
