Sorry, I do not have the owner's manual. But, here's the step by step directions for turning off the "Belt-Minder."

One time disable

Any time the safety belt is buckled and then unbuckled during an
ignition ON cycle, BeltMinder will be disabled for that ignition cycle only.

Deactivating/activating the BeltMinder feature
Read steps 1 - 9 thoroughly before proceeding with the
deactivation/activation programming procedure.

The BeltMinder feature can be deactivated/activated by performing the
following procedure:

Before following the procedure, make sure that:
* the parking brake is set
* the gearshift is in P (Park) (automatic transmission) or the neutral position (manual transmission).
* the ignition switch is in the OFF position
* all vehicle doors are closed
* the driver’s safety belt is unbuckled
* the parklamps/headlamps are in OFF position (If vehicle is equipped
with Autolamps, the Autolamps feature MUST be turned off.)

To reduce the risk of injury, do not deactivate/activate the Belt
Minder feature while driving the vehicle.

1. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN (or ON) position. (DO NOT
START THE ENGINE)

2. Wait until the safety belt warning light turns off. (Approximately 1–2
minutes)
* Steps 3–5 must be completed within 60 seconds or the procedure will
have to be repeated.

3. Buckle then unbuckle the safety belt three times, ending with the
safety belt unbuckled. This can be done before or during BeltMinder
warning activation.

4. Turn on the parklamps/headlamps, turn off the parklamps/headlamps.

5. Buckle then unbuckle the safety belt three times, ending with the
safety belt unbuckled.
* After step 5 the safety belt warning light will be turned on for three
seconds.

6. Within seven seconds of the safety belt warning light turning off,
buckle then unbuckle the safety belt

* This will disable BeltMinder if it is currently enabled, or enable
BeltMinder if it is currently disabled.

7. Confirmation of disabling BeltMinder is provided by flashing the safety
belt warning light four times per second for three seconds.

8. Confirmation of enabling BeltMinder is provided by flashing the safety
belt warning light four times per second for three seconds, followed by
three seconds with the safety belt warning light off, then followed by
flashing the safety belt warning light four times per second for three
seconds again.

9. After receiving confirmation, the deactivation/activation procedure is
complete.

Hope this helps and good luck!

Wear your safety belt, or simply unplug the harness located at the seatbelt receptacle.

2011 Toyota constant beeping and flashing seat belt light even If seat belt is on

There might be a problem with the switch in the seat belt that shuts off the light and the buzzer. Best way is the get a scan of the system to and see what codes may be there. Otherwise you may need to replace it.

My seatbelt light comes on and radio shuts off simultaneously

There is a designed in safety feature that mutes your radio until your seat belt is fastened.
There is a electro-mechanical switch in the receiver side of your seat belt that tells the control system that your seat belt is on. It sounds like that switch as failed. You might try spraying some WD-40 or other not too messy lubricant into the receiver side of your seat belt but it will only be a temporary fix. You need to have that switch replaced. Hope this helps.

The hazards and turn signals wont work. I have checked, the fuse, hazard switch, turn signal relay, turn signal switch and bulbs, all has power and ground. Still the lights do not work. What else can it...

Must agree with the others most likely thing is the flasher unit. If the seat belt reminder light isn't working its a good sign the units failed. They both use the same flasher which is why the seat belt light changes speed when you turn the indicators on. Hope you find the problem soon.

HOW DO YOU DISABLE THE SEAT BELT CHIME ON A 1997 MERCUTY SABLE WA

Q: Are you wearing your seat belt? Yes? No?

A: No.
Solution: Put on your seat belt!!!!!! Save a life!!!

A: Yes.
Soultion: There has to be a fuse either under the dash or under the hood that controlls the chime.
There is a switch in the seatbelt connecter that controlls the chime. It has either failed or the wireing that carried the signal to shut the chime off has been damaged.
