Sounds like the Gas filter. Fairly easy fix. Locate gas tank. Follow gas line to engine, about half way usually by back door under the car, drivers side, is the small filter. Take a pic of it. Head over to car parts store. Show them what you need. It only takes a wrench and a bucket to catch a little gas.

If it has a timeing sensor on a device that looks like a distributer in older cars it should be changed also. It and the crank sensor share info in order to work properly.

I have a 2003 grand am 4cyl i have three codes PO137,PO141, PO442 and since i parked it on the 17th and then never went anywhere till the morning of the 19th my car wont start it rolls but wont catch...

The 137 code is low input, rear o2 sensor,141 is a preheat fault at the same o2 sensor, the 442 is an evap leak (like a loose gas cap )
None of these codes would cause a no start condition.I think a fuel pressure test should be first,at least see if you hear the pump run for about 3 seconds as the key is turned on,don't have to crank it just turn the key on and listen (or a helper) at the fuel filler neck.

My 2006 bmw 525xi wont start

Kind of hard to help diagnose a problem with just "wont start". Need to know of any symptoms prior to it not starting. Does it even turn or spin over and just not catch ? Stuff like that. If it is turning over but not catching, you will need to do a little diagnosing. In order for an engine to start you need to have spark at the spark plugs and fuel. You will need to know what is not working. No spark or no gas. That helps in order to narrow down the problem. This is the best I can do with your information...

Check the ignition timing as it appears that the firing order is wrong. Make sure that the cam shaft is turning as it could be the belt broken

Citroen c8 wont start when its cold

probably your crank position sensor is bad. it determines the position of crank and adjust ignition timing. when timing is off it wont start.it cant catch. this is unrelated to outside temperature.

@ 45 - 50 MPH, Car starts jerking when I dig into the gas. Engine light came on immediately after that happen. Also, in the morning, cold starts make the engine very jerky! what is the problem?

You will have to get the codes checked. This will tell you what could be causing the problem.Sounds like ignition problem. But without codes it hard telling exactly the problem. As far as the morning starts you might have to clean the throttle body. When you get the codes post back and I can help explain the code or codes and what you should do.Auto Zone will check them for free.Hope this helps.Good luck.

1987 jeep comanche 2.5L (gas). Engine died

Do you have a rpm guage? If so see is it moves when cranking, if not the crankshaft sensor is bad and is located on top of the transmission bell housing. Also it can be scanned to confirm a faulty sensor
