If toyota 03 camry is a chain how come the dealer ship here still tell me that is belt. Mine is 03 v6 Se camry. Please advise.

It is confirmed that it is a timing belt.....what made you think that it was a chain driven. ????? As long as it's V6 petrol engine, it is timing belt.

Water loss through engine

yes cams are at front with the timing belt. not like motorcycles in the middle. I havent had many problems with them where I am. But a water loss in the engine is serious. If your sure the loss is internal then you have to tear down.

Petrol tank

First, don't syphon by mouth -- gasoline is poisonous -- can be deadly.

I would suggest buying a bulb hand-syphon at Pep Boys (or similar) -- cost about $2 or 3.

Just put one end in the tank, the other in you gas can, pump bulb.

Note:
Since you're using the term Petrol, you may not have a Pep Boys in your area, but you get the idea (do-it-yourself auto parts store).

I am replacing a cam chain and need to know the settings and best way to do it

The 1.8T is very common in the US. We don't have any diesels here in the A4, but the 1.8T is all over the place.

What exactly do you need to know? You were posting it in the title to your question but it got cut off and I don't know exactly what you're looking for in terms of info for changing the cam chain. If you mean the timing belt, that's a belt, not a chain. I thought that the 1.8T drove both cams off of the belt, unlike the 2.8, where only the exhaust cams are belt-driven by the timing belt, and the intake cams drive off their respective exhaust cams via a chain and tensioner assembly. If you can clarify this, we can proceed.
