It might work. But sometimes, the engines without a/c may have a slightly different set-up, with a belt-driven part in a different place. You'd probably just have to check.
Another option is to get an a/c delete pulley-a free wheeling pulley that fits right where the a/c pulley is. A parts store might be able to order it, or check out a few internet sites.

SOURCE: how do I remove the brake drum on achevy 1 tone

depending on the axle type you may have to remove the bolts on the axle and (small bolts on the outer end should be eight or ten depending on the axle) slide the axle out then remove the lock clip on the bid axle nut ,the nut inside the drum assembly reqiures a special soket that you can get at any auto parts then you pull the drum and hub assembly off be carful not to damage grease seal on the inside of the drum install in reverse order when assembly is done check axle fluid level by removing fill plug by using a 3/8 rachet if fluid run over threads dont add any after that install plug and jack up axle one side at a time to let the fluid fill the bearing housing in the drum then on level ground check fluid level again it should just barely come over the threads of the filler hole

There is a pulley that fits where the compressor is mounted. This means that the compressor would have to be removed and the a/c hoses would have to be sealed.

I've replaced idler pulley, tension pulley, a/c clutch, altenator, and belt but my 1999 chevy suburban still sqeaks? What could be wrong?

Hi Anthony:
If it's in contact with the belt, and rotating, it has to have a bearing or bushing. You did not mention the water pump. Give it a once over. Remove or slack off the belt and see if there is any play or wobble in the water pump. It never hurts to spray some belt conditioner (also called belt dressing) on the belts. If coolant has been spilled on the belts they will squeal in a not nice way.

1988 Toyota tercel. How do I change timing belt?

Yes, you do. Also be sure and set the engine at TDC of compression stroke of # 1 cylinder. Remove crank bolt and pulley, remove timing may also have to remove the front engine mount to get the cover off. Use a jack and a piece of wood under the oil pan to hold the engine up.

Sqeaking from the accessory belt drive. could be a bearing in one of the pulleys, the pump, the alt or the belt tension has weakened. It occurs off and on, usually just off idle but sometimes at idle. Is...

common cause is the belt gets worn and stretched, yes the tensioner is suppose to keep its tension but also the tensioner gets weak and all it takes is a couple slips of the belt to harden and you will get a squeal. Spray WD 40 on tensioner, idler pulleys, alternator behind pulley, not on belt or where belt rides on pulleys but at all bearing locations. Did squeal stop? If not replace belt. Usually a chevy water pump will leak, or grind not sqeak unless there is rusty non lubricated so called coolant in it which 1974 maybe but 2007 na im sure you didn't neglect this baby. You can also inspect the belt carefully, possibly buy a can of belt dressing and spray belt but do make sure you use a ratchet and check your belt tensioner for smooth non sticky tension pressure.

There is a pulley out of alignment. Only 1/8th inch out will cause a serpentine to sqeak.
