You need to have the switch set to LPF and then there is a level knob where you set the gain. Have it turned all the way down (counter clockwise) and then turn the system on and slowly turn the gain up until you find your desired level. It will sound louder when you're messing with it, but set it then sit in driver seat and make sure it's all good.

Replaced both clipers on rear and rotors,bleed the lines,good brake padel, they are hard don't want to stop the car right away, can anyone make help me on this issue i am having.


The most obvious cause for a hard pedal is simply not enough vacuum. Check the hose running to your booster.could be a bad check valve in booster. To check remove valve from booster hose, Blow through the valve, if you can blow through it, it is bad. if you cant its ok! With car off. Pump the brakes until all air is out of booster. Hold brake down, then start car. if the pedal sinks a little. the booster is ok. If above fails, replace booster. If need be, you can check the rear brakes and see if one is sticking first! Make sure the caliper pins are well greased and slide good. God-Bless! a sticking caliper will cause a hard pedal.

Porsche Carrera bass speakers inoperative


Either your speakers are blown, you have a loose connection somewhere, or your amp is bad. First thing to check is the amp. If all looks good then you probably need new speakers. Be sure to check all fuses, and, the super simple stuff- like verify the bass setting on the head unit isn't turned all the way down to 0

Hard brake pedal


You can only have whatever the engine vacuum is
at any time.
Is there vacuum to the booster check valve
& is the valve working,assuming you have the
old one or a new one with the new booster.
Does fluid flow out all 4 corners?
Are the Rubber Flex Hoses Collaped
Calipers Rusted & frozen?
Did you remove the master & clean out
the moisture from around the piston
That is where you start,then flush & on to
every component in the system, if they are
on the vehicle for many years
You do realize brake fluid gets changed every
2 years on all vehicles or you got big problems with
moisture in years to come

How to adjust Dg11100 car amp


If your head unit has an amp gain, turn it up as high as it will go. If it is hooked up to subs, the head unit will say subwoofer output in the menu. Then take a small screwdriver and turn the amp gain on the side of your amp counterclockwise to zero. Turn your freq. up to about a third. Crank your system up, with a song with good bass, and slowly turn your gain up till the bass from the subs sound distorted, and back it back down. If the bass is drowning out the other speakers in your car, then turn the gain down some more. I find it works best if you have your trebble up high, your mid range at a little less than half. And your bass at zero or one. Your amp is cranking up the bass, so let your other speakers handle the rest. This allows it to sound clearly at higher volumes.

How do i calibrate my powered subwoofer for my car


OK assuming you are referring to after market sub and amp whether or not added to factory head unit (stereo). #1 start your engine, and have your amp adjusting knobs accessible #2 insert a CD of the most listened to type of music (Rock,rap,classic) #3 adjust your stereo volume to YOUR max preferred db level with your amp levels at the lowest settings possible #4 start by increasing your freq. rang by 2 bands at a time then the same with gain, once you have gotten your bass to the level you like with out distorting or popping try increasing your bass boost (if available) till your preferred sound(may need to back off gain and freq. add bass boost accordingly until you like what you hear.play around with it for a while make sure you do this at the peak volume in which YOU listen to music because if you do it at a low volume and then turn it up you can blow your equipment . side not 8''in is for very fast bass reps, 10''in is for average rock and 12''s 15''s 22''s are for your low long deep bass reps such as rap and R&B anything else just e-mail me

When i step on my brakes u hear a loud air noise and they are hard to stop

I've got a 1999 ford expedition with the Mach radio system in it and it does not have any bass playing thru the front or back speakers and i've changed out the factory amp thats in the back where the sub...


does the new amp you have have a hpf setting if so check to see if thats on, turn off the x-over so it will play both lpf and hpf, bass and treble. are all the speakers wired to the amp aswell, this is the only thing that would stop bass other than the head units settings.

Check brake booster


You can check the booster.First check vacuum to booster,is it strong?,it needs to be.Check the check valve that the vacuum hose slips onto.It should only be one way,blowing threw it and not being able to blow threw it the other way.If this is all ok,then think about this,Are the brakes really hard to push down?or just going to the floor,or spongy,or anything else?If the brakes are hard to push,then replace the booster,if the brakes do anything else,it`s not the booster.The booster only,I repeat,only, make brake pedal easy to push.If I can help.>>>roniecon@gmail.com

make sure of two things one is any wires touching at the starter to ground or melted and or is the starter drawing too much amperage causing the fuse to blow.starter may have a dead short in it.
