Pull the panel under the steering column. Look on the right side of the brace on the right side. You have to reach through a hole to get to it. It is mounted at the top of the hole in the brace. It can be a pain to get to. It should be gray, rectangular with a small leg on one corner to assure it is installed correctly.

2001 f250 brake controler will not work

As you probably know, the blue wire is the brake wire, have you checked at the truck plug (for the trailer) for power to the blue (brake) wire while someone steps on the truck brake pedal? There shouldn't be any power at the plug until the truck brakes are applied, then you should have at least 12v there.

Singnal light flashers

The turn signal relay flasher is located in a black box, approx. 3 inches long, 2 inches wide, and 2.5 inches deep. This is under the dash on the driver side. To locate it, lay yourself between the accelerator and brake pedals, and look up. If the flasher is original, the box will be taped. Remove the tape and the clasps on each side of this box and inside will be your flasher as well as an accessory relay. The flasher is larger and closer to the passenger side than the relay.
