SOURCE: How to locate the oxygen sensor in a LEXUS LS430 (Bank1 Sensor1)
the O2 sensor for bank one sensor one is located between the catalytic converter and the engine in the exhaust head pipe. see photo of your engine cylinder layout, the sensor u want to replace is the one at the cylinder #1 bank on right.

Bank 2 is on the passenger side. Bank 1 is the driver side. Sensor 1 is before catalytic converter. Sensor 2 is after catalytic converter. You can get Bosch part at Autozone for half of the OEM part price. I recommend to buy this first so you know that it looks like and how the connector is mated. There are two wrenches they sell for this job. The socket one works better but requires 1/2" drive. You need to jack the car up as high as you can and use a headlamp so you can see better. Loosen the screws (about 6) to remove the cover so you can see sensor 1 (sensor 2 is visible by looking at the exhaust system). Open the sensor first and then use a flat head screwdriver to pry open the mating connector while pulling the sensor down (side of sensor connector that has a ramp is the side you need to pry). Once old sensor is out, you can replace with new sensor. Remember to disconnect the ground cable on the battery and reconnect it to reset the check engine light before you start the engine. Good luck!
