I have a 1998 concorde changed the fans both hoses checked fuses there ok but the fans dont turn on think maybe the coolant sensor

temp switch on the radiator controls the fans. its screwed into the radiator and has a plug on it this turns the fans on when at the right temp to cool down. also there is a fuse just for this in engine bay fuse box.

Cooling fan does not run?

At the main fuse and relay box, check the 30A EGI INJ fuse. If OK, the main relay closes to apply power to the cooling fan relay. Next, check the 30A FAN 1 and FAN 2 fuses. If OK, power is being applied to the fan control module. The PCM processes engine coolant temperature sensor input and sends a signal to the fan control module which, in turn, causes the cooling fan motor to operate. Fan failure could be caused by malfunction of the cooling fan relay, the fan control module, the engine coolant temperature sensor, the cooling fan motor itself, or the PCM

2000 grand am gt over heating radiator fans not turning on

Overall Cooling fan operation is managed by the powertrain control module (PCM). Three relays control fan motor operation. In the underhood junction block, the 30A COOL FAN 1 fuse feeds power to (left) fan control relay 1; 15A COOL FAN 2 fuse feeds power to (right) fan control relay 2. The mode control relay determines whether the left fan, the right fan or both fans are turned on. If the two fuses are OK, the problem is a defective fan relay(s) or the PCM

Cooling fan keeps blowing a fuse on my 2000 maxima #1 fan. #2 fan works when a/c is turned on

It's is very possible. You may be correct however don't dismiss the wiring. The wiring may intermittently short with movement/vibration and cause fuse to blow but most likely you are correct in thinking that your fan needs replacement.

Fans wont turn on and engine gets hot and looses coolant

well first of all, check the fuse and relay for the coolant fans. if ok! to check the fans itself to see if they are ok. disconnect the fans from its wire connector, then run a wire from positive on battery to positive on fan connection. then negative from battery to negative on the fan connection. if the fans are ok, they will turn on. try by changing the temp sensor on thermostat housing, that sensor signals the fans to turn on and off. and make sure coolant level is ok. check the coolant level first.

My fan wont start? 1996 acura my two radiator fans wont turn on?

Will one fan come on when you turn the A/C on? This tells you the fan and wiring is OK, and the problem is in the temperature switch or the cooling fan fuse or relay. If the fan will not come on with the A/C, it could be that both fuses are bad, or the fan control module is bad. Makre sure you check all of the fuses #4 & #7 (probably inside the car) as well as 47, 50, and 56 (probably in the engine compartment fuse box). If you have more questions, please let me know.

Engine cooling fan not running checked fuse ok

I would check the fan first disconnect the electrical connectors on it and use a pair of home made jumper cables and run it from the battery. If it works move unto relay if it doesn't you've found the culprit.
Next check relay in the fuse box. Coolant tempertant switch and its circuit aka thermal switch in the water jacket by the t-stat.

1988 Audi 80 cooling fan does not start(overheating)

You won't know which until you check. Unlikely the wires. Fuse or sencer most likely. Check the large fuses first. If it is the fuse then check the wires as somthing the matter with them or the fan itself. Turn the fan with your hand (with engine turned off.) it should turn freely. If all this is ok then you need a senser.

Engine fan runs fine. When AC is turned on it blows 30amp fuse under hood for the engine fan. Cant figure out whats going on, i've traced the wires for the fan as well as the AC and could not find...

I had the same problem today with my sunfire 96 2.2L and it was the radiator fan that was draining too much amperes and the fuse blew up 3 seconds or less after the fan was turning.... i just change the radiator fan motor and the fan and the fuse are ok!!!!
