Camry will not go into overdrive or reverse gear


needs pressure tested at a shop that can test for good operating servo seals for reverse clutch drum pack. Run a diagnostic for transmission trouble codes for which sensor or shift actuator will need replacing for overdrive. Also, check to see if the button does turn overdrive on and off.

check the wires on the overdrive solenoid on top of the gearbox, if ok change the overdrve relay.

I have 1994 toyota camry and the overdrive light is blinking off and on.What does that mean


It means that there is a fault in your transmission control system. You will have to retrieve codes from the transmission control module to find out what fault code has been recorded and diagnose accordingly.

O/D light blinks off and on


This could mean that your solenoid for overdrive is malfunctioning. In this case you will need to drop the pan and it will be located right there once you remove it. Is it going into overdrive?
