doing well , thank you , and you ? , since you have 57,374 miles i will assume we are talking about the 60,000 mile point maintenance service , labor guide gives 9.2 hours to preform this service , but , it is not only inspect many many things , it also is required to replace timing belt , spark plugs , coolant , engine oil & filter , and rotate tires in this 60k service , definitions may vary on what a maintenance multi point inspection is , some may concider having an oil change and look it over a maintenance multi point inspection , hope that helps ya , cheers'

When does the timer belt need to be replaced on my Hyundai Accent 1.6 CDX 2005 model?

Hello jimturner10: My name is Roger and I will help you. According to Autodate the timing belt should be replaced every 60,000 miles or 48 months. The manufacturer has identified this engine as a interference engine. That means if the belt breaks the engine will have head and possable piston damage. Should you need further help please just ask. Please rate the answer. Thank You for using Fix Ya. Roger

Where can i get a maintenance schedule for a Hyundai Tucson CRDI Thank you

The maintenance schedule is in the back of your owners manual. You can also download a copy in pdf format from Hyundai. Your local dealer will be happy to print you a copy of each service as well, that has the parts required together with current prices and all labour charges. Hope that helps Mike

I have a 2005 Chevy Equinox but no owners manual. There is a light on the dashboard that comes on that show a picture of a car with what looks like a tool in the center. Can anyone tell me what this...

I believe that would be your "maintenance due" light. Most GM vehicles as of 2005 or so have a program built in to the vehicles computer that will let you know when it is time for your normal service to be performed. It measures this by how many times the vehicle is started, how long it is run for, etc. Sometimes it will come on after 3000 miles, sometimes 5000 miles and sometimes more. GM says that once the light comes on, they recommend you have an oil and filter change and any other necessary work done within 500 miles of the light illuminating. On average the light will come on about every 5000 miles but it can go to 8000 miles. I would suggest no matter what that the oil and filter be changed every 8000 miles at most with regular and not synthetic oil. You can always do the service sooner than that. Transaxles should be serviced at 30,000 miles or less on front and all wheel drive models on the Equinox. Please rate me on this answer.

Timing belt in a 2005 hyundai replacement

You should find another dealer. Hyundai recommends replacing the belt every 60,000 miles and this dealer knows this. No reason at all to replace it at 42,093 miles. Remember that this is an interference engine so if the belt breaks serious engine damage will occur. Do not neglect this service at 60,000 miles.

Check engine light is on in my 2005 Elantra newly maintenanced

Check your engine oil and break oil weather it is in below low level or full, if it has in low level get an engine oil for your car module and pour it. otherwise go to authorized Hyundai service centre and check for it.

Air filter check every month / replace when you can not see daylight though the air filter

Coolant 2 years or 24,000 miles

Oil 3 months or 3000 miles

Transmission 2 years or 24,000 miles

more frequent if you drive in dusty area or carry heavy load.

When do you replace a timing belt on a 2005 hyundai

YES!! It's always better to replace a timing belt before it breaks. The cost of a timing belt break can become beyond comprehension. Don't try to get around this much-needed maintenance. It's WELL worth the money in the long run, and usually even in the short run.
