Question about 2000 Buick LeSabre
2000 le sabre 2wd. The first time this happened, I was in traffic going from a stop to speed when the gear seemed to slip or shifted hard. Check engine light came on. Code was P1742 (not 100% sure if that's it exactly). Car will run fine but every now and then the gears seem to slip or shift hard around 40-45mph but will run fine after that. Really don't want to have to replace the transmission if that can be helped. Suggestions?
That is your ttc solenoid . it is your torque converter lock up solenoid. it is located in the transmission ,and to get the it you have re move the side pan on the transmission on the drivers side
