Well disconnecting the battery would make you loose the memory - so the radio may need to have the security code re-entered. That keeps someone from stealing it and using it in another car.
If the engine will not crank, and the security light is flashing, something has happened to the anti-theft system too. The system is supposed to read the chip in your key to know it is you.

I want to clear Radio Err from Nissan Pulsar 2005

I don't really know why they started putting "error" on radio's. The radio is bad, something died in it. I fix radio's, problem is, no one wants to pay to have them fixed, unless it is a $2000 radio. You can throw an aftermarket radio on there for way less than having it fixed. The only way to clear the error, is to fix the error.

Reset check engine light

Check Engine Light can be reset by disconnecting the battery terminal and and putting it back again. Make sure you have the code for the radio before you disconnect the battery terminal as the radio can get locked. You can get the radio code from any dealer.
Another way to rest the check engine light is by using an error code checking meter. You will have to purchase one.
It is always better to first get it checked from a mechanic for the reason of the light to come on before you reset the light as it might be an indication of a serious engine issue.

Service engine soon light is on . when disconect battery terminal for 3 minutes, and start the engine, it does not throttle for 3 or 4 attempts. the service engine soon light stays on.

It is not SUPPOSED to throttle for 3 or 4 attempts when you start the engine just after disconnecting the battery. Every time you disconnect the battery, your computer has to go through the idle learning process.
Also, every time you disconnect the battery, all you are accomplishing is to remove important information from the computer system that is needed to propery diagnose and repair your vehicle. You are also taking a big risk by doing this because repeatedly disconnecting and reconnecting the vehicle battery can damage many EXPENSIVE electronic components including the engine computer, body computer and the radio/stereo system.

My recommendation is to get the vehicle PROPERLY diagnosed and repaired so the light will stay off.

I disconnected the battery and when I went to turn on the radio a code came up. I did not know what this ment so I was just started pushing buttons. 3error came up. I then had my son disconnect the battery...

Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery for 3 minutes, and try again. The error message shouldnt be on when you insert the radio code, it wont work. I sure hope that the battery inside the radio didnt die, because it wont be able to retain the code, or the station presets. You will be amazed at how much better the aftermarket radios are. If unable to bring it back to life, do not hesitate replacing it with a well known brand. Most come with inputs to play pendrives and Ipods.

Is there any way to reset the check engine (obd)light on a 2002 dodge intrepid?

Two ways: 1. Disconnect the negative battery cable, then try to start - that will reset the light, but also reset the radio, clock, etc. 2. Go to an Autozone store. They will reset it for free and will even tell you the code that caused it.

Radio not working

I believe the Kia has 2 fuses for the radio, one in the cabin, and one in the engine compartment. Check them both. If they are good, your radio is toast.
