Check engine light is not displayed on Toyota Check engine light is not displayed on Toyota Hilux 2010 and engine does not start.

Not all failures will make check engine light come on, so run basic troubleshooting--is there spark? Correct fuel pressure? Timing belt broken? Compression?

Not sure why the check engine port has no power, looking for a blown fuse

On GM it's part of the cigarette lighter circuit, check that fuse.
If not just get a test light, ground it to a good ground, turn the key to the on position, then use the test light to touch both exposed terminals on each fuse, test light should light on both sides of each fuse, if it only lights on one side, then that fuse is blown. This saves the trouble of pulling each fuse out to inspect it. Good luck.

There is no specific fuse just for the check engine ligh ! There are fuses for the instrument cluster , you could have just a burnt out blub ! You would need to pull the instrument cluster out to change it ! Link How to Replace Dashboard Lights In Depth You vehicle probably is not exactly the same as this !

Vito 2006 109cdi. fuse number 41 is blowing (engine fuse)

engine light stays on
the ecu will have fault codes stored to be read
that will point to the cause and a fix of the over load

my best information on a vito if diesel..says
10 amp fuse 41 . glow plugs

you must need the van on the road very badly
30 amp in a 10 amp fuse position can
melt the wiring even a fire

Check engine light droken

You most likely just blew a fuse for the CEL light when you worked on the truck, check all the fuses in both fuse boxes.

There is no check engine light fuse. There is a PCM fuse (the engine computer that turns on the check engine light), probably in the power distribution box by the battery, or in the fuse panel under dash.
When you turn key to ON, the check engine light should be on as a test that the computer is powered and ready to work. If you have no check light, the check engine light bulb may be burned out, or the fuse for the computer may be blown, or the computer or wiring is not functioning properly.
Good luck.

When i turn on the head light it doest light up

Check and confirm, that headlight bulbs are glowing. If the bulb itself is faulty, it will not light. If bulb checked out, ok, then other possibility can be headlight fuse in the engine compartment fuse box. There are two 15a fuses located in the fuse holder assembly on the driverside engine compartment.Check both this fuses. Also check the relays in the fuse compartment.-------- If any of the fuse or relay is blown, replace that and see.But if all fuses and relay checked ok, then its quite possible that problem is with head light switch itself. Its getting short.------------
This should help.Thanks.Helpmech.

How do you shut off the check engine light?

If you are trying to reset the check engine light, you remove the EFI fuse from the engine compartment for about a minute. If there is a problem, it will soon light up again. This is where the EFI fuse is located. As you face the front of the 4Runner, you will see the battery at the front right. The FUSE BOX is just beyond the battery. The top of the fuse box has a panel which identifies each fuse. The EFI fuse is the MIDDLE FUSE, closet to the right fender. If you're talking about the maintenance reminder light reset button, its to the left of the guages, labeled "reset"
