Do you have a combination code for the driver door keypad? If so, try inputting that as you would to unlock the car.

You say t pump is coming on, but do you fuel coming up to the fuel injector rail? You can check for fuel by pushing down the valve located at the left front side of fuel rail. It looks like a tire air fill stem. Be very careful as fuel is under 40 psi pressure and can spray all over the place. do this with engine OFF and have a rag to cover the valve. Just press with tip of screwdriver and be sure valve is covered. If a little gas come out,you know you have fuel. If not gas then check fuel delivery system i.e pump, filter, lines or pickup tube.

If there is fuel in the rail, then there is most likely a problem with the control module (computer).
Check for fault codes with an OBD II reader. You can usually rent one at your local part store. You can look up fault codes to find out where the problem might lie.

More questions, just leave in comments.

Good Luck.

Disconnect battery and wait a few minutes than reconnect. If battery is dead this will not work and you will need a new battery.

Have the battery tested, it sounds like it went dead or went open inside overnight. Autozone and others test batteries for free.

My 2002 Ford Explorer won't start after a diagnostic test was performed. Mechanic is stating it's due to the anti-theft device system, but they have no idea how to fix it.

How is that possible, they should have a data
base, such as AllData or Mitchell, etc or
they can not work on any product & may as
well close their doors and go out of business

Your owners manual will explain the system as
far as using it

Any repair shop, should have 15 years experience
with an Explorer, there are a million out there

You need to move on to another shop, don't pay that
one anything

2006 gxp wont start due to anti theft system what to do?

You can't reset it yourself. It takes a scanner at your Local Dealership to do it. People do it, (new battery or dead battery) everyday unaware that doing so can and usually does, arm the theft system and either kills the radio or the whole car. To me it's just another built-in defect that requires dealer assistance. It's a buzz kill I know, and it probably won't be long until car owners won't even have access to the engine compartment. They will need your VIN, and then they call HQ to get the code for your radio, which will also bring your whole car back to life.

You most likely have a failed anti theft system. Go to this link to read about these systems. I have no permanent fix for you, but you might be able to bypass the anti theft parts at the ignition. This might get you going. http://vatspasslockpasskeysecurityhelp.yolasite.com/

If the antitheft system is armed and isn't recognizing the key for starting, the dealer should be the next place it should be towed for reprogramming the key to the computer.

Tell the guy to call the dealer and ask them how to override the anti theft system or reset it. when you disconnect the battery and lose power it kicks on the anti theft device and it won't get fire.

Removed CD player for jammed CD. Reinstalled but car ignition and most electrical sytems won't operate although fuses appear OK. Don't know if it is related to the anti-theft system. When ignition is turned on, both tach and speedometer needles peg out and return to zero but no type of ignition
