SOURCE: how to replace the light bulb on exterior mirror 2003 ford expedition

The one with the turnsignal intergrated into it?

If so.....

Push the Mirror FORWARD, up close to the pivot poit there is a small torx head screw - unscrew that.
At the tapered end carefully pull/pry down. That end has a small metal spring clip that holds it up, be careful with it, if it snaps, you can NOT by a new one...

SOURCE: 2002 Ford Explorer - Drivers side door lock, rear

Aside from the fuses, your drive side power door lock may be failing to work because of a bad door-lock relay system, or, alternatively, the locking switch/button, itself, is not malfunctioning and in need of replacement.

A great handyman site that specifies the above probable causes and more is the following link:

Good luck!

Removing rear view mirror tab on 2004 ford expodetion

If you are talking about the tab that holds the mirror on I then you have to use a solvent and patients it is a heavy duty adhesive on there. Gently working the edges with a razor knife and rubbing with a solvent will work with time.

Is there any way to reduce the time the headlamps

Hi,
Some the options such as light delay can be set by the dealer - plz call the Ford Dealer's Service dept. .....a regular mechanic probably doesn't have the correct computer/diagnostic tools to do this.

Installing the dimmable rear view depends on your skill level. 1st, check out the online Ford forums for Expeditions/Explorers/F-150's, as it's probably been done before and you can see if it's w/in your abilities.

The compass in my 2000 Expedition has quit working. What do I need to do to get it working again?

There is a small hole on the underneath side of the rear view mirror. You have to use a paperclip to push the reset button inside and turn the vehicle in slow, short circles until it resets.
