Most likely a fuse is out, possibly from a short in a light fixture or wire. You can register your car with the Autozone.com site and get free wiring diagrams and a picture of your fuse panels. Just scroll down to one of their help sites at the bottom of the page.

On occasion a fuse can just break, but if the replacement breaks again you must have someone trace down the problem.

Please ratemy info.

When my lights are on, i have no dash or heater controll lights One rear parking light is also out. i have a headlight switch and a seperate dimmer (roll type) switch

The dash lights are incorporated with the parklights. The heater control lights are incoporated with the dash lights. Make sure the dimmer switch is in the full illumination mode. It is possible the park light that is not working is burned out and causing a resistance issue amongst the park light circuitry. Replace the non working park light and retest

MY Park lights and dash board wont come on

Check your fuses first, park lights, I think. Pull the light switch to first click and check if your front park lights are on. If no lights are on, the headlight switch is probably bad. If the fronts work, but no tail lights or dash lights, the problem is probably a wiring problem under the dash. The same wire to the rear tail lights is usually with a splice to the dash illumination lights.

What can I check if the parking lights do not come on? The regular lights and flashers and turn signals work.

The first thing to check would be a fuse. Park lights use a different fuse than the other lights you mentioned. Are the dash illumination lights working? These will typically be on the same fuse as the park lights. If your dash lights are working, I would suspect the headlight switch.

Have no rear parking lamps or dash lights when

In that car the fuse for the rear lights is also the same fuse for the dash lights. They did that so you would know when your tail light were out. Replace the fuse.

95 riviera dash lights or tail lights dont work

You probably have an open/blown tail/park lamp fuse. The dash light fuse gets power from the tail/park lamp fuse, so when you can't see your dash lights, you'll get the vehicle looked at and find you have no park/tail lamps either. It's a safety feature because otherwise you may never know your running lights are not working.
Check your park/tail lamp fuse.

Check all the fuses, if they're ok then check the switch or wiring, it might be that the wire running from the switch to the park / dash lights is fried. Does the front park lights work? (turn switch to first click, not second one. This is park lights, second click is full on headlights) Your park and dash lights are probably all connected to a single wire from the switch via the fuse box.
