SOURCE: power locks on 04 jeep liberty not working

Most of the times on jeeps and all chrysler auto's they have a body control modual this is what controls your door locks , windows ect. It should be in the owners manual for all fuse location and identification. A shop with a scanner can check the door lock system for you. body control moduals go bad alot on all chyslers and if you buy one you need to buy it from the dealership they will program it . So check the owners manual for a fuse and then have the body control mod checked

Check in the Jeep Liberty Owners Manual.

There is two fuse box, power distrubition center (underhood) and passenger compartment.

Sounds like a fuse. Locate fuse box and check the "stop light" fuse.

2004 jeep liberty limited edition abs warning light stays on. Will go on when started then off momentarily then back on. Just has rear speed sensor. Have changed speed sensor

Wait until the Jeep cool down take it to a car wash or host down the wheels.

MAKE SURE the rotors are cool otherwise you will warp them.

Let them air dry.

TOP OFF the brake fluid with DOT 3 or DOT 4 (check the label on the cap)

Use CRC Electronic parts clear to clean each ABS sensors contacts and the body of the unit.

Make sure the connector is tight after the cleaning.

Make sure the ABS sensor is free from dirt.

Cheers.
