SOURCE: ATS(Air temp sensor) CTS( Coolant temp sensor)

I have a 351 but they are common sensors and should be located same places. ATC is on the side or bottom of the air intake filter box. The CTS should be located on the goose-neck where your Thermostat is housed; this is comming off the intake mannafold and into the radiator.

SOURCE: 96 fF-150 idling high

I CAN TOTALLY FIX THIS!!!! I just fixed this problem with mine! I have been fighting with it for 2 yrs. You need to replace you PCV valve if it is bad. And then clean out your IAC (ignition air control) take it off completely and spray the whole inside with with carb cleaner or brake cleaner scrape all the carbon build up out of it and work the spring in there untill it opens and closes easily! you gotta really work it though, once you have it all cleaned out put it all back together and it should work! When i did it it instantly fixed my truck!

Have a 95 ford ranger 4 cyl need to know where coolant temp switch is located my gauge is inop i found coolant temp sensor for computor need one for the gauge

On the 4 cylinder motor (2.3L,2.5L), the coolant temp sensor can be located
on the left side rear of the engine, below the cylinder head.

A picture of a typical Coolant Temp Sensor (aka ECT) is below:

Be sure to partially drain coolant below the level of the sensor to avoid spillage when removing the old part. Best of luck on your repair!

What is a coolant temp sensor on a 2001 plymouth neon

the coolant temp sensor lets the cpu know when to turn on the fans when the coolant temp is high. It also shows the temp on the gauge in the car. I also have seen where if they go bad they will make the car run funny. It is located on the drive side in the cyl head on neons

91 trooper isuzu 4 cyl,runs bad when cold,where is the sensor/

The coolant temp. sensor is located under the intake manifold at the #1 intake port. It is not easy to access. Check the connector for corrosion.
It maybe accessable through the right wheel opening over the tire. Good luck

1991 isuzu trooper 4 cyl. runs terrible when cold.does it have a cold sensor & where is it on the engine?

If you have a 2.6 4ZE1 engine the coolant temp. sensor is located under the intake manifold at the runner for #1 cylinder. It maybe hard to access. Try going throught the right side wheel opening over the tire it is a tight fit.
