Question about 2010 Nissan Altima
After a battery change the climate control system is no longer working the same. After the vehicle is turned off, and turned back on, the fan is off. When turned on, the temperature is reset to 75 degrees, and the fan speed is on low. Prior to the battery change, it maintained the settings prior to the car being shut off.

The memory has been compromised,if the car will start and run,it might relearn,do not remove the cables again, but try driving the car with out the ac on,for 2 minutes, down the road, threw all the gears, then turn the ac on high blower motor, and drive it another 2 minutes, see if it relearns. If it will not,it ,the computer will have to be reprogrammed.

you will see the heater hoses coming out of the firewall to your engine.. remove them from the engine and backflush them with a water hose, run water through it both ways, until you get a good adequate, constant flow of water. put the hoses back on, start the vehicle with the radiator cap off... let the thermostat open up and and cycle through a couple of times.. by this time the vehicle should be up to operating temperature and blowing heat for you.. make sure the radiator is topped off with fluid, and put cap back on... the engine does not have an issue being pluged, or the vehicle would overheat, if its pluged its in the heater core.. the a/c would work because it doesnt use the coolant of the vehicle to operate.. you can do this yourself for $0.00. and if you need further assistance with it feel free to let me know, or email me at email@example.com.. id be happy to help.
