Question about 1999 Subaru Impreza
Hello, I went to replace my blower motor today, went to Pep Boys and Autozone, and both of the motors they gave me did not appear to match my OEM part. The replacements they offered were smaller, and had two wires (+/-) coming out of them. The OEM part looks to be sealed and has a female piece to accept the male wiring unit under my dash. So I am wondering if the OEM housing comes apart possibly, and I need to wire it myself, or if I need the entire unit that matches the OEM part exactly. Thanks

yes that is correct, remove glovebox , metal bracket in front ( mark which way round this bracket goes it will go back wrong and glove box wont fit ) , unplug electrical plug from heater motor, unscrew 3 bolts/screws from motor replace in reverse..30 min tops..

There is no full wiring diadram for this model. All the schematics are divided into the various electrical systems on the car. There are around 50 charts to make up the set. Perhaps if you let me know what system you are interested in, I may be able to help.
