I would say the problem is in the lock switch which is behind the lock cylinder.
Depending on the year make and model you may be able to remove the plastic shroud around the lock to access the switch.

Turn the steering wheel side-to-side and see if it will turn. Also, check for a bad battery.

SOURCE: the key is in the

Your steering locks could be in a bind. Is your steering wheel turned to the side? Try moving the steering wheel while trying to turn the key. If this is not the case, then you most likely have either a worn-out key or a worn-out ignition lock cylinder assembly.
I would first try a different key if you have one. If there is not another key, I would take the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to the dealer along with proof of registration and picture ID, and have them cut a NEW key using the key codes for your vehicle. If this does not work, then you will probably have to replace the ignition lock cylinder assembly.

SOURCE: car wont start!

Car not starting or turning over indicates towards multiple possibilities. It can be issue with battery or weak battery. But if battery checks out ok, then it can be starter issue or faulty alternator or problem with low fuel pressure or no spark at spark plugs due to dirty spark plugs or faulty ignition coil or injectors getting cracked or dirty and needs to be cleaned.

When I put the key into the ignition and try to turn it it wont turn. The steering wheel is lock and when I try to move the steering wheel to find the "sweet Spot" to turn the key and start the car the key...

If your are turning the wheel to the "sweet spot" like you said, and you are using the right key, do you have a second key that still won't work? Then ignition lock tumblers are worn. You or dealer has to fix.

Key wont turn over igntion to start

Hello. If you are certain that you have the correct key I want you to put the car in neutral and then slam it into park as opposed to doing it gently. Then turn the key and start it.

Clio wont start

In my experience with a 94 ford f150, it was the cylinoid!! If you had your vehicle checked at a professional auto shop, go get your money back. It is the rules and regulations in most shops that they not only check the battery and starter, but to also check the distributer and the cylinoid as well. I have had my truck for 8-9yrs now and I have always had it annually checked has kept me from walking home when I needed a rig to drive.
