You will need a Lb-In torque wrench , torque the 4 corner bolts to 106 Lb - In , then torque the remaining 14 bolts from back to front alternating side to side to 106 Lb -In

My 1998 volkswagen polo indicates ''service INSP'', what could be the posible reason? the mileage is 90070


G'day mate well the best it would seem is to ask the dealer may be for the timing belt or catalytic converter (exhaust ) the car a complex piece of machinery and needs attention from time to time

Need bolt torqe specs , rods, mains, oil pump & oil pan for 6.0 vortec engine thanks


Connecting Rods: First pass 15 lb ft. If you have an early first design final pass 60 degrees. Second design 75 degrees.

Main Crank Bolts: Inner bolts first pass 15 lb ft. A final pass additional 80 degrees. Tighten the outer bolts/studs 15 lb ft. Final pass 53 degrees.

Tighten the side cap bolts to 18 lb ft. Tighten the bolt on ones side of the bearing and then tighten the bolt on the opposite side of the same bearing cap.

Oil Pump Bolts: 18 lb ft.
Oil Pump Screen Nut: 18 lb ft
Oil Pump Screen Bolt: 106 lb in
Oil Level Indicator Tube Bolt: 18 lb ft
Oil Level Sensor: 115 lb in
Oil Pan Drain Plug: 18 lb ft
Oil Pan Bolt: 18 lb ft
Oil Pan (to front cover): 18 lb ft
Oil Pan (to rear cover): 106 lb in
Oil Pan Skid Plate Bolt: 15 lb ft

1998 dodge ram 1500 v85.2 towing capacity?


according to the owners amnual the max towing weight for a 1999 ram 1500 quad cab wit automatic transmission is 7600 lb.
with either 5.2 or 5.9 v8. for a reg cab it is 8000 lb.

I found two pieces of information, but no picture showing the sequence, but hopefully this will help.


Tighten bolt 1 to 63 N·m (46 lb ft).
Tighten bolt 2 to 58 N·m (43 lb ft).
Tighten bolt 3 to 58 N·m (43 lb ft).
Tighten bolt 4 to 63 N·m (46 lb ft).
Tighten bolt 5 to 63 N·m (46 lb ft).
Tighten bolt 6 to 58 N·m (43 lb ft).
Tighten bolt 7 to 58 N·m (43 lb ft).
Tighten bolt 8 to 63 N·m (46 lb ft).
Tighten bolt 9 to 63 N·m (46 lb ft).
Tighten bolt 10 (stud bolt) to 58 N·m (43 lb ft).
Then tighten all bolts an additional 90 degrees

For the 2.2L engine. First Pass Long bolts 46 ft. lbs Short bolts 43 ft. lbs Final Pass Tighten all bolts an additional 90 degree turn.

Multiple misfire codes tend to indicate a problem with the coil packs - it's a fairly common problem with the A4, moreso on the 1.8T than the 2.8 V6, but failing coil packs are never a surprise on an A4.
