Fuel level sending unit. I hope it's not, but ya..... it's inside the fuel tank. Also called the float level.

Not an easy task unless you are ready to drop the fuel tank at home.

Some had a small access hole under the back seat so you could get to it easier, but it's not that easy to get the back seat out, and harder to get it back in.

Hope this helps.

The likely problem is the low fuel switch, most people think it only controls the light but it actually is for instrument voltage regulator, low fuel indicator, fuel gauge.

I dont have power to my blower on a 1987 grand marquis station wagon and fuse is ok is it a resister?

Power goes from the fuse to the function select switch, then to the blower motor. The fan switch and the resistor is the ground circuit for the blower.

Gas guage not working on 1987 grand marquis

No the fuel gauge is mechanical, it could be an issue with the sender unit or the wiring between the sender unit and the gauge

1993 Grand Marquis fuel gauge problem

Not sure what your asking but the fuel gage sending unit is in the gas tank. Most problems with fuel gages that read incorrectly are there. It may need to be replaced.

I own a 2010 grand marquis and I cant put gas in it unless I pump it realy slow. Is this a common problem?

yes, while fueling just barely stick the pump nozzle in the gas neck, you probably wont be able to pump at full speed but you should be able to pump a little faster

Think it is 0.54 but not positive. It should be listed in the back of your owners manual.
