This talks about fixing the seat belt, not removing the seat. I'm assuming that i'll need to remove the carpet in the back so i can see a little better as to how they are removed. I have a Haynes book but there are not real details

How do you replace rear brakes on a 1989 ford bronco II

The easiest and simpleist way is to jack the truck up, block it and remove both wheels and drums. Do one side at a time and use the other side as a reference. Both sides have to look exactly the same when you are done.

What is the firing order for a 1984 ford bronco 2

Now you need to know which cylinder is which. If you stand at the front of the truck looking at the engine, the number 1 cylinder is on the left closest to you. The left bank has cylinders 1-3-5 and the right bank has 2-4-6. So number 1 is at the left front and number 6 is at the right rear.

How do I remove the transmission of my 1989 Bronco II (2) 4x4 ?

Well first you have to remove the rear drive shaft, then the transffer case, then you can unbolt the flex plate from the torque convertor, and unbolt tranny from engine.

There's alot more to it than that, but thats the basics in a nutshell.

How do you change ignition switch in 1985 ford bronco ii

You will need to remove the trim pieces below the steering column. Then there is a small cable that goes to the gear indicator, remove it from the column. There will be 2 nuts,(4 on some models) holding the column up. Remove those and let the column rest on the seat. The ignition switch is mounted on the top side of the column tube and held in place with small bolts. Remove those then un plug the switch and replace it. Good Luck

Removing Ford Bronco II 1989 Transmission

I'd recomend you go buy a chilton's manual from the parts store. They have pretty good instructions on how to do this. You probably won't have to remove the motor mounts. Just the transmission mount and the whole thing will drop pretty far.

4x4 on 89 bronco ii won't engage

undo the rear interrior side pannel behind the driver seat, its on the LEFT side wall behind the interior panel. It might be that one of the Relays has gone bad, and thats where they are. around or near the seatbelt mechanism.
